خواص وازلين و تركيبات آن

وازلين

پارافين

پارافين ماده مومي شكلي است كه از تقطير چوب، زغال‌ سنگ، نفت يا روغن شيل به دست مي آيد. اين ماده قابل اشتعال تركيبي از هيدروكربن ها است و در توليد شمع، پوشش و آب بندي، تركيبات لاستيكي و محصولات دارويي و آرايشي و بهداشتي به كار مي رود. پارافين واكس يا روغني است كه در صنايع پتروشيمي توليد مي شود؛ اين ماده در ابتدا ناخالصي داشته و زرد مايل به قهوه اي است و پس از آن كه تصفيه مي شود بي رنگ شده يا رنگ سفيد به خود مي گيرد. اين ماده در صنعت كاربردهاي فراواني دارد و صنعت گران زيادي براي توليد محصولات خود در صنعت نساجي، لاستيك ‌سازي، سموم دفع آفات نباتي، صنايع دفاع، باطري ‌سازي، ايزولاسيون، كابل ‌سازي، رنگ و رزين، چسب، واكس و پوليش، بسته ‌بندي چوب و كاغذ، كبريت ‌سازي و ... به سراغ خريد پارافين بهداشتي مي روند. اين ماده به دو شكل جامد و مايع وجود داشته و از هر كدام در برخي از اين صنايع استفاده مي شود.
